JOB TITLE: System Test Engineer – FMS Datalink (Remote)

This position is responsible for system/software verification of the Datalink function for a Flight Management System (FMS) in a commercial aircraft application.

JOB TITLE: System Test Engineer – FMS Datalink (Remote)
ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is responsible for system/software verification of the Datalink function for a Flight Management System (FMS) in a commercial aircraft application.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Embedded Avionics System Test experience
- System Test Case Development experience
- Automated System Test Procedure Development experience
- Visual Basic scripting language experience
- Excellent communication skills with a positive client-facing demeanor
- Ability to quickly grasp new processes and tasks
- Strong self-motivation and initiative
- Strong accountability and task ownership
- Team-driven mentality
- Willingness to provide assistance to other team members to resolve issues/roadblocks
- Experience working with remote team members
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- FMS experience (highly preferred)
- FMS Datalink and/or ACARS experience
- AOC or ATC message familiarity
- System Requirements development and management experience
- Ada coding language experience
- ARP-4754A and DO-178B/C lifecycle familiarity
- Experience using DOORS requirements and test case documentation tool
- Experience with Git software configuration tool
