REAL TIME CONSULTING (An RTCo Company)—POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer
ABOUT THE JOB: Be part of a team that addresses product risks, develops new or modifies processes, defines process and product requirements, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) inertial sensors, pressure sensors, magnetic sensors, and microelectronics.
As a Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes and products. You will help the team achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes and products. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing product requirements, workflow, capacity, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for new products in a challenging environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide test and manufacturing support for MEMS inertial, microelectronics, and magnetic and pressure sensor products.
Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Statistically analyze data to help evaluate and qualify process and product changes.
Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
Assist development of new products.
Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
Test products & software
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
5+ years of engineering experience.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Product or process engineering experience.
Experience with silicon fab, MEMS sensors, pressure and magnetic sensors.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.
Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.
Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions.
Ability to quickly and accurately identify subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
Experience and ability to use statistical analysis tools (like JMP, Minitab, SAS, RStudio, etc.) to efficiently analyze data.
Ability to convey information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams.
Root Cause Corrective Action / Lean / Six Sigma understanding and experience.
