JOB TITLE: Avionics Hardware V&V Lead
ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Hardware Verification & Validation (V&V) Lead with strong experience in DO-254 hardware development assurance processes. Bonus consideration will be given to candidates with DO-160 environmental testing experience. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our hardware systems through rigorous testing and analysis.

ABOUT THE JOB:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Hardware Verification & Validation (V&V) Lead with strong experience in DO-254 hardware development assurance processes. Bonus consideration will be given to candidates with DO-160 environmental testing experience. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our hardware systems through rigorous testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the hardware V&V team in planning, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies.
- Author detailed hardware test procedures targeting low-level functionality including timing, UARTs, memory interfaces, and other digital/analog components.
- Analyze test results to identify anomalies, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with hardware design, systems engineering, and certification teams to ensure compliance with DO-254 objectives.
- Support environmental testing efforts aligned with DO-160 standard.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace hardware V&V.
- Proven expertise in DO-254 hardware development and verification.
- Strong understanding of low-level hardware functionality and embedded systems.
- Experience writing hardware test procedures and analyzing results.
- Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) and scripting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with DO-160 environmental testing (EMI, temperature, vibration, etc.).
- Prior leadership or team management experience.
