Aircraft Certification ODA Procedures Specialist

JOB TITLE: Aircraft Certification ODA Procedures Specialist


ABOUT THE JOB:
In this role, you will develop and revise ODA Procedure Manual content, ensuring alignment with FAA Orders and supporting Certification efforts within a commercial aerospace program.  You will be responsible for identifying the differences between FAA Order 8100.15b and FAA Order 8100.15c, developing new ODA Procedure Manual content or revisions to existing content, and ensuring compliance with FAA Order requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 2+ years of related experience in Aerospace industry.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and ensure compliance to FAA Orders, and ODA Procedures.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills; experience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work individually, and as part of a team, prioritizing responsibilities based on criticality.

HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • General knowledge of FAA Orders.
  • Knowledge of the Certification and ODA regulatory environment and work with the FAA.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering
