JOB TITLE: System Engineer - Aircraft Surveillance Systems
ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is responsible for system design and test activities for aircraft surveillance systems in accordance with ARP-4754A lifecycle. Activities include development of system requirements, design, and system verification and validation.

JOB TITLE: System Engineer - Aircraft Surveillance Systems
ABOUT THE JOB:
This position is responsible for system design and test activities for aircraft surveillance systems in accordance with ARP-4754A lifecycle. Activities include development of system requirements, design, and system verification and validation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with requirements development, capture, and management
- Experience developing system level test procedures
- Experience executing system level tests
- Experience creating system level test reports
- TCAS, TAWS, ADS-B Out, or similar product experience
- Effective Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Self-motivated, Accountable, Detail-oriented
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Willingness and ability to perform in a Project Engineering role with the following responsibilities :
- Provide daily direction to team members
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements
- Maintain project schedule for development team by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
- Control development team project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions
- Prepare development team project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
- Functional development of teams on assigned project
- Knowledge of ARP4754A systems development cycle
- Familiarity with DO-178B software development cycle
- Experience working in a Validation Facility
- Experience developing automated test procedures
- Experience with DOORS for requirements and test case capture and management
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
