Components/LRU Systems Supplier Management

JOB TITLE: Components/LRU Systems Supplier Management

This position is responsible for managing suppliers of line replaceable units (LRUs) used on a new aircraft turbine propulsion system.  The successful candidate will have systems engineering experience and understand how to flow system requirements to the individual LRU suppliers.  The candidate will work with suppliers to identify LRU qualification test failures and work corrective actions with the suppliers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer/Aerospace Engineering
  • Supplier Management experience
  • Systems requirements flow down & management experience
  • Understanding of design process
  • Understanding of qualification process
  • Ability to drive teams to success
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated, accountable, detail-oriented
  • Engine LRU familiarity
  • Supplier Management of Components such as valves, temp/pressure sensors, torque sensors, etc. a PLUS
  • DOORs familiarity
