ECU Systems Engineer

JOB TITLE: ECU Systems Engineer
This position is responsible for Engine Control Unit (ECU) Systems design for a new aircraft turbine propulsion system.  The successful candidate will have systems engineering experience and understand how to flow system requirements to the hardware and software engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
  • 5+ years Aerospace systems engineering experience
  • Electro-mechanical systems requirements development experience 
  • Systems requirements flow down & management experience
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical design process
  • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing electro-mechanical engineering drawings
  • Understanding of DO-160 and its application in the qualification of complex systems hardware
  • DOORS proficiency 
  • Ability to drive teams to success
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Self-motivated, accountable, detail-oriented
  • Engine ECU and LRU familiarity
  • Electro-mechanical circuit testing experience
  • Electro-mechanical system integration experience
