Lead Technical Recruiter

Real Time Companies is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Recruiter to join our organization and drive the comprehensive sourcing, recruiting and placement lifecycle for Engineering project placement requirements. 

You will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition team and for managing the full cycle recruiting for crucial technical positions. You will also be responsible for full-desk delivery to meet this requirement, including sourcing, screening, coordinating hiring Manager(s) interviews & meetings, compensation negotiation, job offer presentation, and support the pre-employment on-boarding activities until candidate it transferred to HR for onboarding.

DURING COVID = RTC determines Covid restrictions based on various factors. For this position, job training and performance will occur virtually via MS Teams. This will take place through screen share video meetings, problem solving video meetings, staff video meetings; all our documents utilize secured shared server folders; IT will provide equipment necessary to do your work from your AZ home and will coordinate with you to set up the hardware and software properly. RTC reviews our return-to-work strategy every few months.

  • Ability to headhunt/ recruit for technical engineering positions in a direct hire, temporary, and/or temporary to permanent capacity
  • Develop and maintain requisitions, postings, and candidates using the applicant tracking software (ATS – Real Time uses CATS)
  • Create effective partnerships with hiring Managers that will ensure a full understanding of their business structure and the requirements of their positions
  • Develop a network of candidates and referrals, specifically using social media
  • Use LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice, etc. for building pipelines
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Organize and maintain candidate status and screening results
  • Manage candidate availability and tracking of candidates using Excel and the ATS
  • Communicate job and candidate status to hiring manager(s) in real time using excel trackers and written correspondence
  • Coordinate interview schedules for candidates based on hiring Manager(s) preference
  • Lead the consistency of the Recruiting processes to ensure hiring Manager(s) needs are met in a timely manner
  • Ensure identified recruiting process is followed consistently (sourcing, recruiting, selection, etc.) and discuss issues/changes/questions with Management
  • Provide direction to the Recruiting team in developing & maintaining requisitions, postings and candidates using the ATS
  • Guide and train the Recruiting team to obtain full understanding of the requirements of each requisition
  • Assist and lead the Recruiting team with the prioritization and process of candidate sourcing
  • Assist Management with recruiting process and documentation requirements when needed
  • Lead and maintain metrics related to recruiting phases and related activities and results
  • Explore market best practices in the recruitment and staffing industries, strategize with Management on process improvement within the recruiting department   
  • Work with Management to develop and execute recruiting plans; conduct regular follow up discussions with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to determine the effectiveness of the team’s processes and results
  • 10+ years of proven work experience in a corporate environment in a fast-paced Lead Recruiting Position
  • 10+ years of Leading other recruiting personnel
  • 10+ years knowledge and application of full cycle recruiting (sourcing, assessing candidate skills match, compensation negotiations, closing the job)
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree a BIG PLUS (VERY BIG PLUS if BS/BA is within a related field)
  • 10+ years knowledge of using ATS for sourcing and managing candidate process (RTC uses CATS)
  • 10+ years’ experience with using Job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, Dice, etc.)
  • 5+ years’ experience recruiting for Technical positions
  • 5+ years’ experience recruiting Technical positions within Engineering disciplines HIGHLY PREFERRED (position examples: Systems, Software, Verification & Validation, Test, Mechanical, Hardware, Engineering Aides, etc.)
  • Recruiting for EAR and ITAR positions a BIG PLUS
  • Experience recruiting in the Aerospace industry a BIG PLUS
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Appropriate understanding of HR applicable guidelines and requirements (appropriate language to use when corresponding with candidates)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with hiring Manager(s) and peers regarding work processes 
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Highly polished verbal and written communication skills with customer service focus (treat candidates like a customer)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing entrepreneurial environment
